Restrictions without properly understanding the technology is absurd

I filmed a video on Alby and to be honest one video on Alby and what they do isn’t enough. I’m amazed at how one simple tool could do so much. The bee is the perfect representation of how they are. They work hard, build fast and take care of the ecosystem. They have my respect 🫡

Nostr is so much more fun than Twitter

I’m so proud of how my sister has been building bitcoin tools. So far she’s built 3 fun tools: - GuessSats: a tool that allows you to run guessing games on your stream and pay the winner in sats - StreamSats: a tool that allows your viewers to scan the QR code on your stream to win sats live as you stream. - BTC Pomodoro: a bitcoin pomodoro that keeps you productive. If you don’t finish the task within the given timeframe you lose sats. Now she’s working on a bigger tool that will help a lot of people. I’m itching to say more. All I can say is that, in my opinion, it can be a whole startup of its own.

Kinda went on a Nostr spree today 😅

Getting a visa here is so sad. Each time I miss an event because of visa issues it reminds me of the harsh realities that we allow our biases to get the best of us. The sad part is that they don’t know that acting this way discourages the true ambassadors of the country. On the bright side it makes me even more determined to keep speaking my truth and shining my light. You can’t break my spirit.

I’m really excited about this. Not to sound cliché or whatever, but I seriously believe that not enough women realize just how empowering bitcoin can be. Do you know what it’s like to know that you can actually self-custody? Literally being able to to create a sense of true security for yourself and your family. How about being able to earn for your creative work, your voice and your talent? And you can do that even if you have to take care of kids. Do you know how amazing it is to be able to come up with an idea and have the bitcoin community support your project? There are amazing women in bitcoin doing great stuff. I can go on and on. I’ve been reflecting about communities lately and I realized that when you think of the word “community”, a lot of us have been limiting it to people within a geographic location. But there are so many different kind of communities out there that deserve recognition: - Gaming community - Developer community - Creator community - Music community - Artist community - Podcast community - Community of policy thinkers

I’m slowly approaching my one year anniversary as a streamer who streams #bitcoin games and I’m thinking of trying new things. Of course, I’ll keep streaming bitcoin games. Growing the bitcoin gaming space is so important to me.

There has been so much craziness with Twitch and how they’re restricting streamers. Although it’s sad, I’m unfazed because I know there’s a bitcoin tool out there that solves the problem of content creators. The real work is trying to get people to use these bitcoin tools to support the creators.

I have huge respect for builders. 🧡

Listening to the panels and talks at the Oslo Freedom Forum makes me realize the just much work we need to do. I feel so inspired to do more and be more. If you could do just one little thing each day to make your world a better place, you’re on your way to making more people smile and believe in hope again.

Although people are more aware now, it’s crazy how freedoms seem to be even more restricted than ever before.

Watching #[0]​‘s presentation at the 2023 Bitcoin Conference and all the data he shared blew my mind. I’m so grateful for him for creating this awareness.
