Took a walk round my local lake this morning before the rain arrived. Took my teleconverter off for the first time since i brought it and shot at a fixed 400mm. (with out the tele, it makes the lens faster)

Noisy but beautiful gulls are the Black-headed gulls. They've bee suffering a fair bit from Avian Flu this year and I'm not yet seeing the numbers I saw last year.
