Market crashing! Not selling! Actually I did, all my Hannover Rück SE stocks. Haven't read a single earnings report. Don't have the time. 2% loss. No biggie. Added some funds as well and bought ASML, Hermès, Hyatt and #Bitcoin HNR1.DE $ASML.AS $H $RMS.PA
Tale of Us > The Fed Instead of listening to the Fed people should be listening to this! Amazing set by Anyma & MRAK. #melodictechno #neotrance #techhouse
Sharam - PATT (Party All The Time) (Adam Beyer, Layton Giordiani & Green Velvet Remix) Eddie Murphy's hit "Party All The Time" is having its third wind. Sharam, of Deep Dish fame, made a remake many years ago. Was a small hit. Adam Beyer, Layton Giordiani & Green Velvet have remixed that one. Great remix! Currently being played by everyone in the House/Techno scene. You know you want to hear Eddie's voice on the hook when you're all sweaty on the dance floor at 06:11.
"Meta's reality check: Inside the $45 billion cash burn at Reality Labs" About burn rate, crazy projects and low morale at Meta's $META AR/VR division. Worth a read. I'm not worried, it's not all sunshine and rainbows out there. I still remember Zuck surfing with the American flag on July 4th. Enough for me!
Hyatt $H doing an alliance with Under Canvas in order to broaden their portfolio of experiences to include outdoor hospitality. Could be the right thing to do. Seems the potential downside is limited. Haven't bought my last share nor stayed at for the last time. Something I'd like to see Hyatt do is buy some #Bitcoin with the $794 million of cash and short term investments they have. In the wise words of Gucci - At Least A M @MarkHoplamazian I understand the hospitality sector is pretty conservative, but this move would be good in many ways. Hyatt has more cash than what it knows what to do with, even if there are potential acquisitions I'm not aware of. You & Hyatt would be regarded as pioneers in this sector, adopting a new financial strategy I'm convinced most will move to. It's a matter of when, not if. Being smaller, and in my opinion better, than Marriott and Hilton you can be agile in a way they can't. You'd pave the way. Key point: $USD going down in short and long term. #Bitcoin going up if not in short term but definitely in long term. Source
Age Of Love – The Age Of Love (Jam & Spoon's Watch Out For Stella Mix) Still the greatest track of all time!
"Inside Mark Zuckerberg's AI Era | The Circuit" A new Bloomberg Originals just dropped. About Meta's $META AI development. P.S. What's that chain Zuck is wearing? It's not a Jesus piece.
More charities should accept #Bitcoin Not sure why there's only a few doing it, at least among the ones I'm interested of. They don't even have to handle a wallet if they don't want to. They could use something like BitPay. I'll email one or two and ask.
Such a great ad by Nike $NKE Stock may be down, but ish like this gives me more faith. Makes me want to buy more, not sell. As for the actual products, I'm happy with my numerous Air Max, Pegasus and Free. Earlier this summer I watched a marathon in the city I live. The running shoe business is a very competitive one. Nike got a head start when they dropped the first Vaporfly. The first shoe with a carbon plate. The carbon plate is used almost like a spring which returns more energy than other alternatives when hitting the ground. At first many people were dismissive by claiming they either don't work or it was a kind of mechanical doping which should be forbidden. Two camps. As time passed and enough data was collected by independent parties it clearly showed carbon plates work. World Athletics also layed down some ground rules that need to be considered for a shoe being a valid to run and break records in. These days every major brand has a carbon plate shoe. Adidas, Hoka, Brooks. You name the brand, they got it, but Nike was first. This is the kind of innovation Nike needs to be doing. Dropping hard ish out of nowhere. Back to the marathon... This is not statistically correct by any means since it was just me eyeballing what the top people were using. I saw a sea of Nike Vaporfly, Alphafly and Pegasus. Total domination by Nike. Followed by Adidas, Asics, Hoka, Brooks, On. My point being, even if the sentiment around Nike stock is ish, people are still buying their products. For better or worse I haven't sold a single share!
