You have to spend them for your daily needs with fredom and far from fiat ransoms - if after all of this years, LN own nodes didn't spread too mutch should be taken as fact: people probably prefers custodial LN solutions. well talking about wallet custodial solutions, cashu and LN have the same level of risks: you have to trust a third entity that could flee with your sats or obey to the tyrant of turn against you. However cashu gives the improovement that mint don't know how users spend the sats and who they are.
