During #plebchainradio I referenced this #documentary from Reason about the #cypherpunks I don’t particularly like Reason but every now and then they get it right just like most of the corporate press and independent media outlets. I don’t know if I’ll ever fully be able to articulate how much it’s ripped my soul out to stand a the crossroads of two topics that are at odds, digital #freedom and the detection and removal of child sexual exploitation online. I landed on the #humanrights position of maximum freedom for all but it’s extremely unpopular amongst my colleagues. I understand their position. I’ve been tested many many times to change my position. I think not changing my position will ultimately be one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do. That being said, I’m not changing my position. I understand what is at stake and I’d rather be unpopular than advocate for changes that risks the lives of many.

Every single day I’m grateful that #nostr exists. I really really thought that there was no solution. I hope that even the thought that there is a solution brings others hope like it has for me.

I have a lot to learn here. I’m fine with that. I don’t need to be correct or know everything all of the time. I actually prefer learning about new things. I’ll probably ask the most basic boomer #bitcoin and #nostr questions in history.
