Ok. Part of freedom is freedom of association. I can’t take personal responsibility and walk away if they are in my space constantly. The only solution then is to walk away from my own account. (I won’t do that personally but I could see many choosing that option) Can an individual have tools to protect their house or do they just have to let any lunatic in whenever? Quick question, I have heard every argument imaginable for why the #block feature is needed on #X and other providers… Can someone give me an honest answer of why they believe they aren’t needed? I don’t know what I’m missing but I’d like to understand both sides #nostr

I am a boomer pleb. I need help being put onto the new stuff. 😂 Frankly speaking, for work from an advocacy/survivor perspective, if there is more of a blog style Nostr that would probably be preferred for survivors than the current social media models that I’m on. Advocacy/activism would do well on the social media version! The opportunity for harassment and stalking is too high for me to suggest that a survivor use the social media versions. View quoted note →
