I found old bikes today on the farm.

On twitter I was more uptight. I had to play the algorithm game and rigorously abide by the ambiguous tos. I had an audience to appease, in an active battle zone where a war of words was being fought. On nostr I can be myself. I actually just want to post my cat and vibe. I bet there are people out there who would love to leave the battle and breathe freely here.

Social media can take a toll on your emotions. We log on to bond with others and stay informed about the world, but it often brings a heavy dose of heartache and struggle. If you can push through the storm, though, you’ll discover something beautiful. That beauty might leap out at you or whisper quietly, but it’s always waiting to be found.

I like imperfect people because I’m imperfect.

I love it when someone climbs to the peak of Hollywood or the online world, then suddenly vanishes one day, retreating to Montana or somewhere to escape it all. I’m like thank God they made it out!

When individuals get like this with me on nostr, it isn’t the first time, I just leave for a bit and go to a corporate tech provider. That’s the best solution that I’ve found so far. If anyone has a better suggestion I’m down to hear it. I don’t like the fact that it’s spilling over into others experiences on nostr. View quoted note →
