I love it when nostr devs quibble because the conversation is too over my head to pick a side but I know that the clients will come out better for it.

Every single time I revisit the Snowden leaks I learn something new all these years later. He should be pardoned immediately and given a medal of freedom.

I know that I’m late as hell but I randomly listened to the Marc Andreessen podcast with Rogan today and I’ve never wanted to jump inside of a podcast and grab the mic so hard because literally bitcoin and nostr fixes pretty much everything they discussed. Not everything but pretty darn close.

When I say stuff like this I’m not trying to be cute. I’m saying it for real. I’m still upset about the death of Virginia Giuffre, a brave survivor of Epstein. I was driving and crying. At the end of my tears I said to myself, “well at least there is nostr.” At least in the future a survivor won’t have to go through the intelligence agencies, the government, corporate press or anyone else to speak directly to the people in a censorship resistant way. There is no longer a need for survivors to ask for permission from anyone to tell their stories. There will be no need for gatekeepers. This gives me hope. This is empowering for some survivors. A few people have expressed concern for my safety so I’ll address this here. I’m not suicidal in the slightest, thank God. My support system is incredible and my plans for the future give me life. I go through seasons where I am a target, it comes with the territory. I sometimes fall back from the public because I’ve been threatened and warned. I recorded a podcast with @Thank God For Nostr Podcast a few weeks ago where I frantically spoke about the need for Nostr and privacy focused messaging apps for survivors and advocates. It is a matter of life and death sometimes. No matter what happens to me please remember that what you are building here is for people like me and so many others. This thought gives me hope. It’s finally ren faire season! You have no idea how badly I needed this turkey leg today!

Ok here’s the deal, I’m grieving the loss of a survivor that I served. I’m completely devastated. I’m not going to be responding to any questions or theories about her death. Please don’t @ me in anything of that nature. I’ve been around the Epstein case + social media frenzy for long enough to know how things go. If it gets to be too much I’ll just log off for a bit. 🫶🏻

I’m heartbroken to learn of Virginia Giuffre’s passing. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. As a survivor advocate, I had the privilege of working with Virginia, whose courage transformed lives. She will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. 🕊️ Most of you folks would know her as a survivor of Epstein/Maxwell.
