Parted up and fried two chickens tonight at my parents (trying to recreate my grandmothers, as remembered by my mother). One soaked in Buttermilk, both dredged in seasoned flour, and fried in lard in cast iron. Chickens were too large for pure frying, so finished in low heat (325 F) oven. Super juicy. I liked dredged only better, inexpectedly. #foodstr
