I’m concerned the US is heading to a bad place. Spoke to multiple well educated, well meaning people this weekend who told me there is no acceptable level of capitalism. I live in a blue state. My hope is that Mamdani destroys NY fast enough that people here see how bad the ideas are and come around before I have to flee with my family in the dark of night. I love this place and don’t want to run away, but I am massively outnumbered. Commies kill people.

Summary: steady chop till something breaks. Violent scary drop. Six months sideways at lower levels. Bitcoin melts faces again. Bitcoin is poised for another run up if the economy keeps trucking but if it does break, Bitcoin will break too. Think 2020 lows here. If that happens, you will see so much liquidity into the midterms it will make your balls shrivel. When that happens Bitcoin hits its next stairway to heaven moment.

Found a pet sitter who will accept Bitcoin. I can now buy the following locally: Electric work Plumbing Carpentry Eggs Pet sitting I am working on my favorite food truck, deli, and cattle farmer who all use square. I thought Bitcoin was active for them but apparently not until the 10th of this month. I also use Bitcoin bill pay to max my exposure. I’ve also started insisting on paying people back in Bitcoin if we split a meal or something. Trying to put it in as many hands as possible. What I do with people close to me is set them up with a hot wallet and tell them I will hold a copy of the recovery key for them so they don’t have to worry about loosing it.
