This is a pivotal story, imo, pre-dating Ross Ulbricht and the Samorai Wallet devs, about how the Deep State/US Gov’t has been targeting and building an “off the books” case against Bitcoin. This fascinating interview (skip about 20mins in to get to the meat) outlines the early steps in the (then) soft-war to build a straw-man legal basis for extra-legal activities. Arrest first, compile a case after. This first tactic was to freeze-out independent developers of the burgeoning Bitcoin ecosystem, and create a controlled firewall around it that only “officially approved” developers can interact with it. They didn’t recognize Bitcoin for the threat it was to them, now they’re treating Bitcoin like they treated every errant country in the World…the standard CIA playbook. The secondary tactic btw is “taxation”, esp unrealized gains taxes on Bitcoin. The goal now is to force all us Plebs who front-ran, to sell it to them for freely-printed Fiat paper money. They won’t come to our houses, they’ll send us a bill. And if you didn’t buy on exchange, you’ll be sent to IRS court for an interview. The Deep State doesn’t hate Bitcoin. They WANT the Bitcoin. I have to say what’s fun and funny is watching Wall St simps learn that Bitcoin is actually super-fucking boring. I’ve straddle both “streets”, I’ve been there. I’m fully in the maxi camp trying to keep things interesting, and will continue to do so… …but the swirling drain of truly Sound Money will inevitably become very uninteresting to talk about for Men and Women who don’t have anything else going on in their lives. When productivity and resources become slowly cheaper and cheaper, what becomes valuable is human ingenuity, competence, and happiness.

To think that all our lives have been dematerialized and re-envisioned within the digital realm within a mere few fucking years… …so seemingly seamlessly… …so objectively objectively… …so brutally gracefully… Yet we worry whether Bitcoin will god-candle?

“The Fourth Turning” outlines that the seeds of change are planted before the Turning, then are nurtured and grow because of the Turning, so they arise fully formed at the time when Society craves new leadership based on the authentic demands of the transformant, dawning era. Bitcoin is certainly this. But many seeds are planted so that whatever is needed will flourish.

If only there was a Parable…a Book maybe…for a Truth that was discovered… And then a Hoard of Influencers swarmed in, and built mock-truths to ride the power-train of this novel, unprecedented Truth: Presenting countless false images, subscriber channels, investment funds, political and seemingly “non-political” influencers toward: Accumulating power to incentivize the Gov’t to suppress the original Authentic Truth and promote their false “idolatry” instead. Perhaps then, people might actually have some basis for an understanding of Real Truth as it is discovered in the world now. And has suffered all of these tribulations.

If you follow alt-media, and appreciate independent voices, I recommend listening to Kim Iversen. This is an amazing intro clip to her approach to journalism precisely because it’s such a huge leap off the cliff - subject matter-wise. She exposes her authenticity, journalistic ability, and desire to simply question what’s true. She throw’s herself to the lions, despite her large following. True pleb, imo.
