Came across some yellowed papers from an old trunk in an attic recently that included a long diatribe on something called “Cycle Resentment Theory”. As I interpret it the papers related the resentment new Bitcoiners feel toward earlier generations of Bitcoiners - generally 2 or more Cycles ago - and how those old-timers were only interested in “dumping their bags” into every “3rd Green”…? The youth seemed to see this as a betrayal of principles…as somehow “diminishing” the Cycle for the youth, and it came to be a source of generational resentment. I’m not sure what to make of this, but offer it here for posterity.

In Real Life (irl, lol) the idea of the NPC is those people who can only react to influences and inputs according to the programming they’ve received from without. People who can’t parse signal from noise, truth from propaganda. To me it clearly has nothing to do with the mind, and it’s “intelligence”, and I’ve always seen it as something more fundamental. What is it that creates an inner “ballast” for some, a pull or need for inner discernment in things? A call to seek truth, however relative? I used to believe it rested in a positive attitude toward work and suffering. But my experiences in this 4th Turning have led me to question whether it’s something deeper…?

I’m just gonna leave this here because it came up in discussion tonight and I realized it’s worth understanding: You have a business. People only pay you rarely. You issue a Credit Card tied to your business w/ rewards. Now those people pay you all year round every time they use the card. The credit card FAR outweighs your business. (c.f. hotels, airlines, retail, gas, etc) Debt/Finance IS the business, of your Life. Bitcoin fixes this. (Unless it’s a Bitcoin credit card).

It’s remarked in many traditional spiritual schools how well-educated people are the most resistant to recognizing Truth. And in a similar vein that most people come to embrace what is Real only after having been profoundly disappointed by the many false paths Life has to offer. Bitcoin is a Truth, of this I have no doubt whatsoever. Its effect on myself and others in a myriad ways show me this. What Truth only needs to thrive in this World is simple people who know how to work.

I got my fiancee a new, cheap, clean laptop for setting her up with Bitcoin. With Win 11, Microsoft is hard-forcing machines to setup a Microsoft Account. I duckduckgo’d how to get around that, and some of the easier (command line) ways seem to have been shut down by MS already. My signal in saying this: The methods still being touted involve knowing this ahead of time and not establishing an internet connection at all before bypassing. MS wants the computer you bought to only be an authorized terminal on their mainframe network. CBDC anyone?
