As a #Bitcoin user, you have no way to force an on-chain transaction into a block mined by a specific miner. I wish this was possible 🤔 Why? Because I worry about miner centralization. Some companies and the countries they are residing in, are getting too big. What if wallets would let you post transactions out-of-bounds, say, only to the Ocean mining pool?

When I’m using my #Masrodon client @openvibe OpenVibe, my IPhone 15 pro becomes very warm after some minutes of use. Is this a 5G thing? No, I’ve switched 5G off (there is a fallback to 4G) and my phone still gets very hot. Anybody else having similar issues? I say issues because I can’t imagine this is healthy for the battery and other internals of my phone 😅 🤔

Tim May, Eric Hughes and other cypherpunks saw the possibility of machine to machine payments long before #bitcoin existed. They also speculated that one day we could buy computer resources. It’s true we can buy compute power like on Nvidia’s GeForce Now and storage like on AWS. But surely with eCash tokens backed by Bitcoin we should be able to make decentralised versions of this same system ? How cool would it be to run software , maybe a bit like “Folding at Home” or like SETI once worked (basically like a screensaver= only using my CPU and GPU when I didn’t need it) and paying me fractions of ṩ of ₿ for it?? A man has got to dream 💭
