I've a few times now seen a lone BitAxe miner find a block and "win the lottery".
What is stopping us all from using that old laptop or RaspberryPi that we use to run our own #bitcoin node to switch mining=YES and also participate in that lottery? What do we stand to lose?
Back in 2022, lots of Twitter users migrated to Mastodon and Nostr.
Most did not continue using the service.
In 2024 we're seeing big sign-ups for Nostr.
Lots of reasons to believe it'll be different this time.
