Trying out Bitkit - seems nice bitcoin:bc1qzcppgg85esyfw76jydd7gnsxja2kejvhl80plu

The lightening network is incredibly exciting and I love its potential, especially looking at what’s happening here and with strike etc. however, some say it can’t scale to become a truly global financial system. Why? I don’t understand the technicals enough to see why scaling is a problem?

Also… can someone point me to a link that explains how to get a purple check. Still haven’t figured that out yet.
