Okay, thoughts on the $25 bitkey now that I received it through my freight forwarder in EU: * Pros: The user experience and on-boarding is really frictionless. The hardware build quality is excellent, this thing feels incredibly premium for what it is. At $25, it's a steal. * Cons: Entirely useless outside of the Block setup. Not interoperable. Can not be used as an NFC key in a normal multisig. Not convinced that the "recovery" pathways if you lose two of the three keys are safe. At MSRP, it's delusional pricing unless it is allowed to be interoperable. * TL:DR;: Not for me, and because it's not interoperable, it's nowe-waste..
I'm looking to make use of a useless Ledger Nano S and a Keystone Pro I have lying around. Maybe as part of a multisig? I have too many old "useless" (for singlesig) signers. Bitkey is also one of em but can't even add that to a multisig. Might just get a Jade and make a 2of3 multisig with Jade, Nano S, Keystone (?)
