LAHAINA, Hawaii — Hawaii's governor vowed "to keep the land in local people's hands" when Maui rebuilds from a deadly wildfire that incinerated a historic island community, as local schools began reopening.
Gov. Josh Green said Wednesday that he had instructed the state attorney general to work toward a moratorium on land transactions in Lahaina. He acknowledged the move will likely face legal challenges.

Children in MY neighborhood? :nono:
I used to maintain a ton of FreeBSD ports and went through the effort of automating the plist generation because every time you have to update the port/package you end up needing to edit a plist file with a thousand lines to add/remove files that are meant to be in the package.
But it doesn't matter, because what's being shipped is what you're meant to package so hand-editing the fucking plist file is a waste of time. I spent countless hours doing this over 10 years. It was never beneficial to waste your time doing this.
And then I handed the ports off to other people and they just undo my autoplist shit because they think it's somehow a good idea to be forced to manage the list of files being installed manually.
Literal masochists. So disappointing.
I wouldn't hire someone who refused to have a cell phone, so if that keeps their code off LinkedIn I mean GitHub it saves me having to look at it if they apply for a job

Had to operate some TP-Link EAP-245 V3 access points today, and they can be managed stand-alone.
They seem to be suitable powerful replacements if you want to get out of the UniFi ecosystem
