My sense is that any crypto project which isn't primarily based on censorship resistance is unlikely to be around in the long run.

Meta is expected to launch a new application called Threads which will harvest sensitive data and faces regulatory hurdles for breaching every data protection law under the sun. Meta platforms are also accused of rampant censorship.

Since the supposed problem of ‘cross border payments’ has already been solved many times over, ECB executives have revealed that introducing a digital euro is not necessarily about the public good.

#BlackRock has refiled its #bitcoin Spot ETF application. Alongside 5 other organisations including Invesco, WisdomTree, Valkyrie, ARK Invest, and Fidelity, the asset manager chose #Coinbase as its partner, despite legal complaints levied against the exchange.

Crypto trading on Binance is set to become less private in certain EU. The crackdown on privacy coins, freedom of speech and finances in the EU has accelerated in recent years, seriously undermining credibility in regulators, perhaps indefinitely.
