it’s still so early. soon there will be custom relays that keep a history of all of your events and re-blast them to other relays as needed. doesn’t matter if lots of users use the same ones if you can easily point at another one and things mostly just work. nostr is simple and stuff like this is relatively easy.

Nostr does not fix this in its current form. Everyone uses the same few dozen relays, which would not be hard to block.

I still think large public bitcoin miners should rig their ASICs to be able to remotely self destruct via on-chain signal via custom firmware. Completely eliminate the risk of state sponsored confiscations.
