So the USA oil companies are no longer profitable since oil is under $65. But of a conundrum hey? There is NO way these tariffs last in their current guise for longer than 6 weeks. Tariffs won't last. Because they can't. Say you're Apple Inc: Besides the multi-year delays in building manufacturing plants in USA, the cost involved (not to mention we're a few years away from AI and robots doing this work for cheaper than American human wages) what do you do? You focus instead on selling your Brand more in China and Asia. Far more profit there.

Now add on the tariff rate % onto the import number and that's how much Americans would have to spend to buy the same amount. Crazy. Poor bastards.
