I do this every year. I start keeping track of the books I read and I'm usually good for the first month or so and at some point I lose count and just stop tracking.

I do find it funny that I only learned about #Bitcoin so young because I was wondering how #LulzSec got donations. It was strange to see a clearnet site with a donate section that was a BTC address at the time, let alone one for a hacking group.

It seems to me we might not be suited for constant communication or even the constant ability to communicate with everyone at anytime. In the past, the norms around reaching out to someone were remarkably different, as not everyone was instantly connected. Communication often occurred through slower means such as in-person interactions or mail, where waiting weeks for a response was typical. There was a mutual understanding that individuals had their own lives and responsibilities, resulting in less immediate expectations for replies compared to today's instant communication culture. Perhaps there's merit in revisiting or evolving our communication norms to reflect those values from the past. This could involve embracing a slower, more intentional approach to communication that values patience, presence, and deeper connections. By doing so, we may find greater fulfillment and meaning in our interactions, thus fostering more genuine and enriching relationships. I think direct intentional communication can create boundaries and have a more fulfilling life. By embracing that slower, more intentional approach to communication, individuals may find greater satisfaction in their relationships and feel less pressure to keep up with a large network of contacts. I've listened to many people give reasons to use #Nostr. I think there is a clear divide however with what #nostriches deem as "value" and what value is. Value isn't simply zaps and money. Value is also clout, a like, a follow, etc. Actual good reasons of Nostr is the that in most instances it can't be shutdown easily and that your social graph can be moved around. Maybe it's just me, but people are tired of paying for services, so why pay when liking a post or boosting it is free? STOP SAYING THE ONLY VALUE WORTH ANYTHING IS ZAPS.

It feels so good to have a weekend off, catch up on reading and shows.

After getting out of some toxic work environments I've literally stopped drinking as much and probably have been living the most healthiest life in awhile.
