Maybe because I followed a few social platforms for crypto that I realize zaps as a concept isn't new. If anything, people being evangelical over it is pretty stupid. We had tipbots with Reddcoin, we had "upvotes" with Steemit for getiing paid for content. Like oh dang it uses Bitcoin so it's sooo much better. If you think people will use Zaps instead of Patreon or running ads, typically that won't happen.

Looks like I'm heading to China after this campaign. Can not wait, but also I still need to fill out so much and have so much ready for my visa before I can leave.

I will more than likely need a way to bypass the GFW.

I just use both Plex, Jellyfin, Nextcloud, and Audiobookshelf for my music, podcasts, movies, and show watching because sometimes it's just better depending on what I want to do with it and on what platform. Sometimes I just want to watch a movie I have on my server and I can share that easier with Nextcloud than Plex or Jellyfin. Music works better on Jellyfin than Plex I think, but audiobooks are on both my Jellyfin and Audiobookshelf. Plex seems to handle subtitles better than Jellyfin currently.

#retroshare is pretty cool for file sharing and forums, the design feels classic as well.
