#India also has been running its money printers. We always were a poor nation. There was no possibility to get enough taxes. It was a high interest economy for this very reason. Doing fixed deposits is still regarded as the safest way to save money. Here people do not know how money printing has caused such #inflation.

The amount of #bank loans in #india which were written off in past 10 years. These are all public sector banks. Just like #silvergate or #SVB in the US. These are just some examples of how public had to pay for bank loss. The people closest to the money printer get all the advantage. Just like the corporates who got these loans. Many fled the country. Many still live here by still doing yet another bank loan based startup. The $300B written off come back as inflation and every indian pays it rupee by rupee in full. And then, another such loan is given on same terms to same people.
