Every gov in the world is mandated to only USD as their reserve. And #USD is itself printed by a completely private company with no ties to US gov.
Is the world money run by a private US company?
And we thought #CIFAFRANC was evil.
Self custody does not mean giving custody to somebody else. It means holding it all your #bitcoin in your own hands. Rubbish ad.
The #USA has itself banned #CBDC and yet we people in #India are still excited to experiment with it. The gov will never work for people. It always works only to get more control and lesser accountability. It only enforces tax collection and discourages asking questions.
#India also has been running its money printers. We always were a poor nation. There was no possibility to get enough taxes. It was a high interest economy for this very reason. Doing fixed deposits is still regarded as the safest way to save money. Here people do not know how money printing has caused such #inflation.
The amount of #bank loans in #india which were written off in past 10 years. These are all public sector banks. Just like #silvergate or #SVB in the US. These are just some examples of how public had to pay for bank loss.
The people closest to the money printer get all the advantage. Just like the corporates who got these loans. Many fled the country. Many still live here by still doing yet another bank loan based startup.
The $300B written off come back as inflation and every indian pays it rupee by rupee in full. And then, another such loan is given on same terms to same people.

How the new money printed always reaches the banks, from there only reaches the richest corporations and people, from there to allow only them to invest get more rich. And rest of the working folks never even saw why everything got costly and their own salary stayed the same.
