I am finally feeling like it might be fun to run my own Lightning node (just a small one for zaps). What’s the best info on setting one up? My node setup is custom: old laptop repurposed as home server. Any good tutorials that accommodate that? I want to use NWC (for zapplepay) so that probably means LND.

How does plebstr still have Lightning tips on posts? Is it just because Apple hasn’t figured it out yet?

Man zaps broken as hell on iOS. Damus is being forced to remove them, and webapps/PWAs do not seem to allow you to pick a wallet to use. What’s the best setup for zaps on iOS now?

Currently, getting a name in Nomen (https://nomenexplorer.com) requires someone to be familiar with some more technical aspects of Bitcoin, using PSBTs and such. I would like to improve the UX. I am interested in building an interface where someone can just send a Lightning payment and I can make the transaction with my own wallet. However I do not know much about Lightning and I am not particularly interested in managing a proper Lightning node with liquidity and such. What are some options I can have for presenting and receiving Lightning invoices, and triggering backend calls?
