Started making my own granola and am absolutely happy with the results and taste! Growing and producing my own food is incredibly important to me and I always search for new ways to use the products we produce on our own land: For these two varieties of granola I used both our @SweetSats honey and @SweetSats maple syrup: one slightly sweeter version with almonds, vanilla extract and our maple syrup— and one more hearty variety with pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, cacao nibs and our honey. Grateful to have so many food producers on nostr and their awesome products to complement for the ones we are not able to produce/grow ourselves. For these batches I used @Bitcoin Beans cacao nibs and organic vanilla extract we brought from @Gabi while in @Bitcoin Jungle Costa Rica. šŸ™

I am relatively new on #nostr. I appreciate being here, what nostr stands for and the open way of communication. Simultaneously, I am somewhat irritated and surprised about the general consensus of people here seeming to reflexively hate anything remotely ā€œwokeā€. Taking aside what the idea of wokeness has recently been co-opted for; At the base being ā€˜woke’ simply means being aware: being aware of– and speaking up to inequalities and injustices within our societies. Maybe I am so shocked because I somehow thought that, even if one doesn’t experience discrimination first hand, one can and *should* be still able to recognize those inequalities and one’s own privileges. And even if one doesn’t fight actively against their remedy, at the very least acknowledge them and don’t belittle them or even worse: dismiss them as non existent. Don’t have such fragile little egos, people! Being privileged doesn’t mean that you are a bad person and it sure as hell doesn’t mean that you have a easy life! You can be privileged regarding one aspect and marginalized in another. Also don’t confuse freedom of speech and ā€œhaving an opinionā€ with a free pass to overrule other people’s actual lived experiences on topics you may not have lived experience with. That’s presumptuous. #introductions
