A note to self re: my imposter syndrome. Most of the value I seem to bring to my work is the ability to consistently stay organized, support decisions with logic, and show up relentlessly. My optimistic attitude allows me to pivot quickly when new ideas appear, providing an agile channel for ideation. I shy away from calling myself a technical master at any one given skill. But I have curiosities that I feed routinely; allowing myself to go into rabbit holes when deeply interested. ⚔️

The truth is a bipartisan pursuit.

Tell them I'm the guy that left his hammer smoking where he beat that old steam drill down.

Happy late morning from my side of #nostr Planning out my July; I'm excited to attend a smaller bluegrass festival here in the midwest and a short cabin stay. I'll be packing my small point and shoot. I'm blessed with a tight group of friends and family. Both events are river side (as they should be), and I expect plenty of soul nourishing moments throughout. A couple 'I AMs' for the log here; 1. I am actively engaging with life as much as I possibly can. Asserting my role, controlling only what I can, but playing the constant game of high agency action. 2. I am creative and enthralled with providing solutions to problems. 3. I am organized, sometimes to a detriment - a conduit of order and simplicity in ever chaotic times. GM #Nostr Time to bury this week in the ever collapsing sands of time. There's one only one shot at this, so we are giving it our absolute best effort. I am a high energy, motivated, and disciplined worker. I am full of ideas and wonder that spur me to research and produce results. I am placing myself and my team in a better position than where we started this week - compounding into a lifting of the tide. Sun is up. Sky is vibrant. The birds are not pondering what to do today. Without fear, they inherently know, in their hollow bones, what must be accomplished. Let's take what's ours. ⚔️🦅🦁

Nice little stroll tonight with the wife past a nearby old farmstead and creek. Some owls were having a really good conversation from what I could tell. We had the pig (our dog) trotting alongside and he even cooled off with us in the water. Heat wave can't get us down. Quality time. ❤️🤙🦅⚔️🐖

Working in the outdoor industry is such a privilege. I met some great folks today, all willing to share their stories and also some that let me in on their own fun times - a nobody in their world. Total strangers; yet we cheers'd over beers, Americana country (literally the land we all cherish across the USA), jammed to live jazz music, sang karaoke until bar close. Conferences can be cool. Get out there. Have fun. Let passion fill your sails to carry you beyond. Stack sats and focus (deeply) on yourself, the craft or service you attend to. All to say, I am blessed beyond reason.
