As a teacher, I've observed various learning methods, some of which reminded me of prison-like structures. I strongly oppose subjecting my child to such an experience because, in its essence, learning should be a joyful pursuit. Unfortunately, some methods strip away the inherent joy of learning, and I want to shield my child from that. Reflecting on my own upbringing, my parents emphasized the importance of #school for life, #future, and everything in between. As a skeptical child, I had my doubts, unsure if my perspective was valid or if I was simply a rebellious youngster. In my personal experience relocating to Germany for a freer lifestyle with my child, I lacked a supportive network. Looking back, I realize the value of having such connections. So, my advice is to actively seek out a community, find other unschooling families for mutual support. Trust your #intuition, especially as mothers, where your instincts serve as invaluable guidance. This internal compass is more reliable than relying on external entities like the #government. That's enough from me today.
