I've debating sharing my album because it was professionally produced and therefore a bit far removed from my usual trash quality, rustic sound. But I'm eager to share my stuff here and this one, Boomerang, I feel is the perfect middle ground. It's also a bit apt. I've been thinking of birthdays today (a friend turned 35). It's nice that we celebrate each other simply for existing. Like, "Yay! I'm glad you're here! Let's eat cake about it". "People peopling" is what I like to call it — the every day nonsense we get up to for no other reason than we can. Anyway, I wrote this song when, on my birthday, I realized someone wasn't good for me and pledged to cut them off for good. So there you have it. Hello there. I'm Rainbow Skychild, an independent musician and writer with a burning hatred for GenAI "art". I'm also a newly hatched nostrich thanks to @crastinaterpro, my brother, who encouraged me to join the #plebchain. He also filmed this video of me singing a snippet of one of my songs while on a recent expedition to the beach. My music isn't usually this calm (it's much the opposite, actually), but I was somber and defeated when I wrote it.
