Great rip @Marty Bent and @Pierre Rochard on #Bitcoin mining. How much longer can we allow government subsidies to support the production of expensive and unreliable wind and solar that can potentially destabilise the grid. Volatile price swings from negative to positive that still require natural gas back up. Miners are remarkable at load balancing but should they continue to support poor state policy? Taxpayers ultimately have to pay for the subsidies. For society to flourish we need cheap, abundant and reliable energy. #Nuclear https://fountain.fm/episode/oMCRC9Py5IvrrORkaWnL

#FreedomTech or #FuckYouTech enables us to build a movement dedicated to leveraging technology to enhance personal freedom, privacy, and empowerment. Decentralised protocols like #NOSTR and #Bitcoin can revolutionise the way we think about how we live are lives, the rights we have taken and the personal responsibility we must embrace in order to be free and to grow.

As traditional systems of governance face increasing scrutiny from a growing awareness amongst the public that something feels wrong, decentralised tools like #Bitcoin and #nostr can be utilised to promote both freedom of speech and protection from financial repression. #Freedomtech

Resist the centralisation of power that eventually leads to collectivism and tyranny through #FreedomTech #Bitcoin and #NOSTR. The State and Corporatocracy want us scared and dependent on them. Focus on your family and local community to build strong decentralised infrastructure outside state control. Thank you @ODELL 🫡 Check out this article on Bitcoin Magazine:

High signal Citadel Dispatch on home mining with @ODELL @econoalchemist @diverter_NoKYC and @roninminer. Everything is covered that is needed to get going from acquiring a miner, infrastructure, pools, heat, and noise. Unfortunately as a UK Bitcoiner the high electricity fees make home mining uneconomical but will look into the heat utilisation as a way to lower costs. Thanks guys.

Great pod @Guy Swann on wasted energy. However, I am getting uncomfortable with the idea that Bitcoin miners in certain jurisdictions are enabling governments to continue subsidising expensive and unreliable energy sources. Miners are amazing at load balancing but should they continue to support poor state policy? Consumers ultimately have to pay for the subsidies. For society to flourish we need cheap, abundant and reliable energy.
