BIP-110 petended a 55% attack on Bitcoin and only got 2.4%. Embarrassing.

I can't wait for BIP110 to fork into oblivion and start having adult discussions again. We need to recover Boltz.

BIP 110 is the first 55% attack on Bitcoin designed to comply with government β€œpotential threats.” Once the mechanism is in place, it will keep rolling out new restrictions in the name of β€œsafety” for the blockchain and its node runners. It will never stop. Preventing metadata is impossible β€” it’s an endless cat-and-mouse game driven by fear. This doesn’t end with better code. It only ends with a β€œconsented” blacklist… and eventually a full whitelist.
