Yields from selling channels on Magma briefly dropped below zero as mempool fees screamed higher. The median fee rate on the lightning network has doubled in response to increased transaction costs. Due to the rising cost of Bitcoin transactions, we've added larger multipliers on channel open/close pricing. With a 4x multiplier, you can charge double the high priority transaction fee to both open a channel and close it later. This favors larger channels at lower prices.
