You wanted it to be 1950 again. Well, you got it. At least, you got the part of 1950 that's bad for everybody but you -- Blacks, Latinos, Immigrants, LGBT people and all other ethnic minorities -- all to the back of the bus, back in the closet, erased from the history books. But you are NEVER going to get back the part of 1950 that was actually good for you: plentiful manufacturing jobs that didn't require college, and no global competition for US industry. So if you can't have the good part, then you'll be satisfied to hurt somebody else. That's why you won't care if Trump crashes the economy, kills Democracy at home and abroad, stokes inflation, and a million other bad things. At least he hurt the people you hate, and that's good enough for you.
