If you go to an event that has USSS security, you’re unable to take in backpacks and a slew of other things. Wanted to ensure a family with a small kiddo could get inside so I said “I’ll keep your bag in my car over there.” We exchanged numbers and she asked “do you have time to get a few things from the bag?” I meaaannn. Todays my brothers birthday and he’s my favorite person on Earth. Through good times and hard times - he’s my whole heart. Not a stupid question at all 🩷🩷 I traveled for work full time and for better or worse just ate out or ordered food. If/whenever I go to the grocery, I just get something quick v something to cook. These days same deal. I’d just wait to eat in a day then eat out. I’m the person who knows all the people/sits in the same place type of thing. This may seem super rudimentary but for me it’s a big deal - I went to the grocery store 2x this week & made meals at home 4 of the 5 work days. I’ve not been inside a grocery store to buy food for myself in 15 years. Literally. I’m healthiest when I make my own food and doing so also gives me back some time to myself too. Feels positive.

There’s people live earnest lives. They built beautiful communities and have invested decades get there. There’s people who manipulate life. Who can’t accept reality because their minds are so used to control. I’ve been one of them. As society spins madly on, I hope those who manipulate find a way to slow down. Life slows you down one way or another, might as well be of your own volition.
