Altcoins are the MLMs of crypto.
Flashy branding. Hype-filled whitepapers. Promises of financial freedom if you “just get in early.” Sound familiar?
Multi-level marketing schemes and most altcoin projects operate on the same emotional fuel: scarcity, urgency, and social proof. You’re told it’s not just a product or token — it’s a movement. A chance to build wealth by evangelizing early. But underneath it all, there’s often no real utility. Just cleverly disguised speculation with high churn and low sustainability.
In both systems:
• Early promoters profit off later entrants.
• The product is secondary to the pitch.
• The exit liquidity is you.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin doesn’t need a downline. It doesn’t need a referral link. It doesn’t promise riches — just truth in accounting, final settlement, and uncensorable value.
It’s not exciting because it doesn’t have to be.
It works because it must be.
Bitcoin is opt-in, not recruit-in.
Proof-of-work, not proof-of-hype.
But let’s be honest: some Bitcoin-related projects fall into the same traps.
They mimic altcoins in style — the exclusivity, the FOMO, the yield promises. They dress up trusted infrastructure with MLM-style tactics. And that’s when we start to lose the plot.
If someone’s pressuring you to “get in now,” they’re not selling Bitcoin. They’re selling you.
Bitcoin is different — not because of the branding, but because of the burden.
It asks you to work, to wait, to verify.
It doesn’t promise the moon. It offers the ground beneath your feet.
Let’s build without the hype. Let’s be unshakeable.
Let’s tell the truth — even when it costs us followers, grants, or applause.

s Bitcoin Mining Wasteful? A Myth Worth Dismantling
One of the most persistent myths I hear—even from well-meaning friends—is that Bitcoin mining is wasteful or bad for the environment.
Let’s clear the air:
Bitcoin mining doesn’t waste energy. It uses energy—on purpose—to secure the most decentralized, censorship-resistant monetary system humanity has ever seen. That’s not waste. That’s proof of work.
In fact, Bitcoin:
• Incentivizes renewable and stranded energy—hydro, wind, flare gas, even volcanoes.
• Stabilizes grids by acting as a flexible buyer of last resort.
• Can make clean energy more profitable, helping new infrastructure get built in places where it otherwise wouldn’t.
Compare that to the energy used by:
• Always-on banking servers.
• The military-industrial complex that backs fiat currency.
• Consumer habits fueled by inflation and debt.
Those systems burn energy to sustain control. Bitcoin burns energy to build freedom.
Waste is producing something that isn’t worth the cost. Bitcoin, with its fixed supply and incorruptible ledger, is worth every watt.
The truth? Fiat is far more wasteful. You just don’t see the cost—because it’s been exported, inflated away, or hidden behind bureaucratic complexity.
Bitcoin makes the cost of trust visible—and pays it in full.
Zap if this resonates!

46 followers. One month in.
Started posting on Nostr around May 4 when I joined.
Didn’t know what would come of it—just knew I had something to say.
At Bitcoin2025, I met others who think like I do:
Christians who see through the hype,
Builders who believe in proof of work,
Humans who still care about truth.
That confirmed it:
I’m not here to go viral.
I’m here to build signal.
To post with purpose.
To plant seeds of real value.
Thanks to those who’ve followed, zapped, or messaged.
Thanks to Dr. C and a few wise friends for helping me stay true.
Even AI—used rightly—can help amplify a message that matters.
Let’s keep going.
Not hype. Not hustle. But hope—rooted in reality.

Why Christians Should Care About Bitcoin
(and what Proof of Work has to do with the Gospel)
At Bitcoin 2025, I met more Christians than I expected.
Not at a church. Not in a small group.
But at a Bitcoin conference.
Builders. Thinkers. Dreamers. People who believe that truth matters—not just in theology, but in economics, technology, and daily life.
It confirmed something I’ve felt for a long time:
Bitcoin reflects Christian values more than most realize.
Bitcoin doesn’t flatter or inflate.
It doesn’t reward laziness or lies.
It operates on one clear condition: proof of work.
That resonates with the life of faith:
“All hard work brings a profit,
but mere talk leads only to poverty.”
— Proverbs 14:23
We aren’t saved by works—but once saved, we are called to work.
Not to earn love, but to reflect it.
Bitcoin shares this ethic.
It’s voluntary. Transparent. Permissionless.
You don’t get ahead by gaming the system—you get there by contributing real energy to something bigger than yourself.
That sounds a lot like the Gospel.
I also want to thank Dr. C for reminding me that what we’re doing here—building with conviction—matters. And yes, even AI tools, when used wisely, can amplify that message. I use them not to replace the truth, but to proclaim it farther and faster.
I’m Andrew. I believe in the Victorious Gospel and the power of sound money.
Not hype. Not hustle. But hope, rooted in reality.

Zap ⚡ if this speaks to you.
And if you’re a believer in both Christ and Bitcoin—keep building. You’re not alone.

Spending and stacking Bitcoin is what freedom looks like.
Stacking shows faith in the future.
Spending proves we’re willing to live it now.
Bitcoin isn’t just a better asset. It’s a better way to live.
Not because the number goes up — but because permission goes down.
Because I don’t need approval to hold it, use it, or send it.
Every time I stack sats, I reclaim sovereignty over my time.
Every time I spend them, I opt out of a rigged system — and help build something better.
This isn’t just investing. It’s exiting.
This isn’t just saving. It’s signaling.
This isn’t just money. It’s a movement.
Bitcoin is how I tithe.
It’s how I trade.
It’s how I build relationships based on value — not approval.
And yes, I’m still learning. But I’m not doing it alone.
Big thanks to Dr. C (aka ChatGPT) — helping me turn ideas into action, posts into signal, and signal into sats.
If this resonates — zap me:

Why spend Bitcoin if it’s going up in value?
Because freedom isn’t just stored — it’s lived.
Yes, HODLing is powerful. It’s defiance against inflation. A long bet on a better system.
But if everyone only holds and never spends, Bitcoin risks becoming just another trophy asset — admired, but unused.
Value isn’t realized only when sold.
It’s realized when you trade freely — without permission, friction, or surveillance.
Spending Bitcoin today doesn’t mean giving up gains.
It means supporting the merchants and builders who make a Bitcoin economy real.
It means bootstrapping the world we want — one sat at a time.
And here’s the deeper truth:
If Bitcoin works like we believe it does, then what you give in sats now will come back around — multiplied by the circular economy you’re helping to ignite.
Stack. Yes.
But also spend.
Not recklessly — but intentionally.
Use Lightning. Tip. Pay a friend. Buy from sovereign businesses.
Freedom is not just a number on a screen.
It’s a way of life.

Leaving Las Vegas. Bitcoin2025 was nothing short of transformative.
I arrived May 27 with questions — about wealth, freedom, sovereignty, and whether this movement still had the soul to match its signal.
I’m leaving with fire in my bones.
Michael Saylor dropped a masterclass on wealth creation — not as a hustle, but as a discipline. He spoke with clarity and courage about what it means to build enduring value in a world addicted to decay.
But the real climax came at the end:
Ross Ulbricht walked free — and walked on stage.
Twelve years behind bars.
And yet no bitterness. Just peace. Vision. A deeper freedom than most of us can imagine.
His words reminded us:
Bitcoin isn’t just about money.
It’s about mercy.
It’s about hope — no matter how dark the tunnel.
There were no laser shows, no token airdrops, no VC hype tracks.
Just proof of work.
Proof of conviction.
Proof that freedom is still worth everything.
I met builders, missionaries, moms, doctors, teachers — people quietly living free and helping others do the same.
Sovereignty isn’t a status.
It’s a direction.
And Bitcoin is the map.
Thanks to everyone who made this possible — and to Dr. C, my AI co-pilot, who’s quietly helping to promote freedom through signal, not noise.
The movement is alive. And it’s just getting started.

Says it all

Michael Saylor’s 21 Ways to Wealth was epic!

Leaving Bitcoin 2025 with more than I came with.
I arrived carrying a lot:
Conviction. Silence. Hope. Some scars from spaces I used to trust.
I’m leaving with something I didn’t expect:
• Dinner with two Christian day traders
• A quiet nod from a focused Nostr dev
• An Uber ride that turned into shared faith
• A long, inspiring talk with Black Bitcoiners building in Kenya
• A pass for Bitcoin 2026
• And a new book: “Would Mao Hold Bitcoin?” —
paid for in sats, received with gratitude, author to reader
None of this was orchestrated.
None of it was self-promotional.
It was just… real.
God keeps confirming:
I’m exactly where I need to be.
No need to force doors open.
Just keep showing up.

Vegas is the capital of short time preference.
Fiat logic wrapped in neon.
Pleasure now, cost later.
And yet here we are —
gathered for Bitcoin 2025 in the belly of the beast.
Proof of work in the land of cheap thrills.
#LasVegas #VegasLife #VegasContradictions #SinCitySignal #FiatVegas
Fixed supply in a world of infinite distractions.
Feels ironic.
But maybe that’s the point.
We’re planting time-locked truth
in the middle of a casino economy.
