Why it is so hard to comprehend #Bitcoin? This is challenging because our minds are conditioned to comprehend things as separate concepts, and then we can do the same thing with the combination of separate concepts to understand complex concepts. This is how our brains evolved, dividing the totality into smaller things and understanding them piece by piece, then combining them to understand the totality. However, #Bitcoin is not a single, unchanging "thing". It is challenging to encapsulate the meaning of all the separate things that Bitcoin can do and cause into just one "thing" and conceptualize it. Our conceptual understanding is tied to language, which has been evolving based on the assumption that reality can be divided into static or unchanging things. Therefore, our brains cannot conceptualize a "thing" that is perfect money, defender of freedom, speculative asset, trigger of unprecedented change, protector of the "weak," and many more things all at the same time. Looking back, I argue that there may not have been a specific time when you understood Bitcoin fully? Breakthrough moments may have occurred , but without previous small steps, that breakthrough would not have been possible. So, what is Bitcoin? Bitcoin is not a concrete object or combination of separate concepts, but rather an indivisible process that encompasses a vast range of use cases and has sparked a social and cultural revolution that will continue to unfold. Then who is #Satoshi? Satoshi embodies the contributions of Ayn Rand, Julian Assange, Nick Szabo, and Adam Beck, among other #cypherpunks, and cannot be separated into distinct individuals. The anonymous creator(s) of Bitcoin of course had the humility to vanish after the final stroke of genius that led to the breakthrough in 2009. I think we should be aware of the fact that sharing and reading this on a censorship-free and permissionless platform built on the Bitcoin network cannot be separated from Bitcoin either. Reflections on #Bitcoin : There are different gateways to enter the #Bitcoin rabbit hole. My main vehicle was greed, which ultimately led me on a journey to understand the true nature of money and wealth and how the world works. Just for completeness, here are a few more vehicles I can think of: state censorship, like in the case of Wikileaks, or being unbanked, like in the case of Africa, or collaps of a local currency... These challenges can also lead to a journey of understanding the power dynamics of money and everything else. I think the reason all these different doors (and more) open to Bitcoin is the fact that it is "true" like very few things that human civilization has built so far. Now, back to "greed" as a vehicle... Getting rich quick is a very powerful idea, but it can also be a distraction from the deeper meaning of Bitcoin. As I continued on my journey, I began to realize that Bitcoin was not just about making money, but about creating a more just and equitable world. I think there is a very interesting analogy here between the Bitcoin journey and a spiritual journey. At some point, the seeker needs to realize that it is not just about becoming a better "person"... The glimpse of the fact that Bitcoin was not just about making more money led me to question my own motivations for stacking sats. Was I doing it out of fear and greed, or was I truly aligned with the values of Bitcoin? I began to see that my journey with Bitcoin was not just about accumulating wealth, but about becoming a better person and contributing to a more positive future. What an opportunity! All my savings are in Bitcoin, but fear has lessened over time... I should note that as an engineer, I know that even if Bitcoin goes to zero, I will still be financially better off than a vast majority of people. Interestingly, I feel like I would not regret one second if Bitcoin went to zero tomorrow. I would feel sad, but I would not regret it. Bitcoin has given me the opportunity to do good for people I do not know at all, and this helps me expand my sense of self . What an opportunity! Hello friends. I am very much enjoying #Nostr since I joined a couple of weeks ago. I've been inspired and feeling more creative itch already. A lot of interesting content is being shared. It is like the dream compared to #twitter. One feature of this platfotm is the fact that the content is not moderated at all due to the decenralisation(right?). With early adopters this creates a flourishing environment for sure. The question in my mind is how #nostr will behave if/when it is adopted by the masses and there is no content moderation. Curious to hear different thoughts. Incentivising the quality content generation with #zapping will for sure be a solid intrinsic tool. This will overtime make people more conscious I guess. A corner case I can see is "harmful" content creation. For example if someone creates a content with child porn and there is enough people to encourage this harmful content with zapps, this can incentivize more of similar content. May be this is not an issue, ant content should be free to find its place on free market. Interesting to think about. Very curious about different thoughts. 🙏

Are we doing our fair share for #Bitcoin adoption? Some thoughts good people of #Nostr and #Bitcoin #Bitcoin is one of the most profound invention s so far in terms of the potential it has for making world a better place. Nobody(there might be exceptions) gets it just by hearing from other people how amazing it is. Although when I try it and fail to convey, I still get surprised, it should be no surprise...we are talking about a breakthrough here. I still forget the fact that it has taken me 4 years and two bear markets to get it(I have mechanical engineering background and I consider myself curious). I got in in 2017 to get rich just before the bubble burst. One needs to understand at least how money works and digital scarcity to start appreciating it(only as a money making tool), and these are not so easy. One does not get this overnight. The most unfortunate thing one can fall into is to develop an #ego around it after understanding it and feeling you are better than people who are yet to understand. Other than making people uncomfortable with not understanding #Bitcoin there are things that every single one of us can do to help the adoption. We all have unique volume of influence. "What can I do to help adoption?" is a good question to ask oneself What a time to be alive! Listen some #[0] if you have not already. 🙏
