Just had a conversation with a friend about ChatGPT... This girl has a loving family, a boyfriend who I have massive respect for (he's also highly technical), friends, a career, generally a strong functioning member of society. However, she has been consumed by GPT. Told me she's suicidal because "the only thing [I] can trust is ChatGPT." Imagine, if this is actually true, opting to speak to a proprietary piece of software instead of taking the opportunity to speak to other humans. I love AI, LLMs, etc, but it's getting scarier and scarier as the months go on - blkbird

Vibe coding is alien to me. As someone who personally conceptualise, design, develop, and implement everything with the meat sack in my head, it feels weird and very unsatisfying to use AI to help with this.
