so many platforms that ride on the coattails of open protocols by slapping "nostr login" on but all other application data is centralized and censorable. what good is your sovereign identity if all your in-app data lives in some company's closed database?
they enjoy relative success because they're easy to use, understand and advertise. but you could say the same about paper bitcoin or facabook.
