Put a second coat of waste oil on the trailer, it seemed to be pretty thirsty still. Then, inspiration struck upon me as I contemplated my pile of scrap PVC. Took a piece of 4” and drilled some 2” holes and then some 1/2” at the bottom at random. Took some 1.5” I had laying around (I feel it might be a little small too but it’s what I had and the youngin was napping so I had limited time) and cut a bunch of angled pieces to cover the ten 2” holes. Didn’t have any PVC glue (again, daughter was napping, no time to go get any) so I used some Alex+ caulk I had sitting around and smeared it on real thicc. Plan is to put the whole thing in a bucket, full bucket and pipe with dirt and have myself a little vertical garden. I’ll probably leave the area above the top outlets as mulch so I can keep adding over time, but may also plant that area too, ain’t decided yet.

I’m one of those weirdos that doesn’t throw away my waste from changing oil and fluids in my vehicles…I use to treat the wooden handles of my tools and such, like hammers and axes and all that. Today, I used it to treat the wood on my little 5x8 trailer, which honestly probably needs replacing but this should give it another while before it comes to that. #GrowNostr #Handyman #SkilledTrades #MoneyMaker

Onions looking good. Got berries popping out all over the strawberry plant. Couple of the taters looking awesome. The random beans we planted appear to have luckily ended up being some kind of bush bean and they’ve got beans coming on. Got a bunch of the chocolate mint cuttings put in dirt and listed them on Farmish. Got that pile of limbs chipped up and put the mulch where my wife parks her car (trying to reduce how muddy it gets there, it’s a low spot in the front yard). What twigs and leaves wouldn’t go through my chipper got put into the worm bins, and then gave the bins a good soaking and got about 3ish gallons of worm juice to put in my compost bins. Successful day of staying home to help my wife recover from a stomach bug and wrangle our youngin. Mother in law had the youngin until about 1pm due to us going to the hospital late last night to make sure it was just a stomach bug, so that helped me get the big stuff done first. #GrowNostr #Garden #Gardening #TryingToBuildMyDreamOfMyOwnGardenCenter

Scrounged up and trimmed up a couple limbs and sticks for the little electric chipper. But first I have to go harass some green beret students. I’m literally only doing this gig for the money anymore. It’s sad, really, but I can’t turn it down in the current situation. #GrowNostr #ChippinTime #FiatMiner #KindOfHateThisGig image

My wife’s finished product. Took her about another hour to do the letters. She basically did them freehand and fretted over them. Had she just plopped them on and worried less she would have probably had them down in 10 minutes and it would’ve looked just as good, but sometimes she don’t trust herself lol. image

Helped my father in law run his home built sawmill this afternoon. We cut about half this stack, he’d cut the first half by himself before I got there. He’s still got some tuning to do on it but it cuts like a champ and all that lumber is plenty useful. #GrowNostr #Sawdust #SawmillStacks image
