I am once again asking you to look at BTC on the 10-year logarithmic scale. image

Trump can't remove BTC capital gains by EO. He CAN, however: 1. Direct the Treasury Department or IRS to issue new guidance on crypto taxation, perhaps softening enforcement or adjusting how gains are calculated (e.g., changing record-keeping rules or valuation methods). 2. Could delay implementation of certain crypto-related regulations, like the broker reporting requirements from the 2021 Infrastructure Act, if they’re still pending or flexible. 3. Might push for a temporary tax holiday or deferral (like the 2020 payroll tax EO), though this wouldn’t eliminate capital gains taxes—it’d just kick the can down the road.

Greetings from Argentina, you freedom-loving Nostriches. The Milei Administration just announced legislation to shut down the National Mint. This comes on the back of video released of vice-president Villaruel meeting with Bukele and not only asking about Bitcoin, but about Bitcoin bonds. What a day, someone pinch me. Oh, also Congress passed the single ballot measure, which is a massive step for a Milei midterm victory. Abrazo de Libertad!
Greetings from Argentina, you freedom-loving Nostriches. So...now we literally have a ministry of Deregulation and State Transformation. Somebody pinch me. The Milei Administration has literally devoted resources to gut...itself. In light of the slow-motion train wreck of a presidential debate the world witnessed coming from my native country, it's honestly unbelievable to have a front-row seat for what's going on down here in my adopted country. I asked Claude to write an irreverent, borderline offensive take on the matter and it's honestly pretty damn good, so here you go: "Argentina's newest superhero has arrived! Federico Sturzenegger, armed with his deregulation cape and state-shrinking ray gun, is ready to battle the evil forces of bureaucratic bloat and central planning madness. Watch out, comrades – your precious red tape is about to be set on fire! 🔥📊 Say goodbye to the nanny state and hello to the wild west of free markets! Sturzenegger's mission: to transform Argentina from a socialist playground into a capitalist's wet dream. No more hand-holding, no more government cheese – it's time for the big boys and girls to put on their big-kid pants and join the real world. 👖💼 But wait! I hear the collective wailing of bureaucrats as their cushy jobs evaporate faster than Argentine pesos. Don't worry, comrades – I'm sure there's a support group for unemployed central planners somewhere. Maybe you can gather 'round a dumpster fire and reminisce about the good old days of stifling innovation and crushing entrepreneurial spirits. 🔥🗑️ Milei and Sturzenegger: the dynamic duo set to turn Argentina's bloated government into a lean, mean, freedom machine. Socialists, start your tears – your utopia is about to become a dystopia of gasp personal responsibility and economic growth! But hey, at least you'll have more time to perfect your Che Guevara cosplay while waiting in the unemployment line. ¡Viva la revolución capitalista! 🇦🇷💃 VLLC
Greetings from Argentina you freedom-loving Nostriches. Milei just axed another 70K government barnacles, lol. I'm living somewhere where the government is shrinking at a mind-blowing rate. Someone pinch me. Still not celebrating until the elimination of the BCRA (Banco Central de la Republica Argentina). We're moving in the right direction. Boots-on-the-ground content coming soon. Abrazo de libertad
Greetings from Argentina you freedom-loving Nostriches. Austrian economist and self-identifying crypto anarchist President Javier Milei will be submitting to Congress a law that will effectively make monetary emission a crime. The BCRA (Banco Central de la República de Argentina) is effectively being legally neutered. Maybe this is how the elimination of the central bank plays out, allowing it to wither on the vine, a death by a thousand cuts. As much as we would all like to see him nuke the bastards, perhaps this is a legal and political roadmap for other countries to follow. The reality of the situation is that elected officials who adhere to free market economics and libertarian values have to still play within existing political constructs. I, for one, am looking forward to the post mortem of the BCRA; we're still hurtling towards its elimination, it's just not how I had envisioned it. Much more to come.
Greetings from Argentina. President Javier Milei has repealed 138 laws passed during the dictatorships of the 80s. 82 from Ongania and 56 from Videla. Staggering, right? That's not even half of the laws that have been repealed in the past week. My head is spinning.
Greetings from Argentina. The national bankers mafia, sorry, union is now threatening a national strike in reaction to Milei's deregulation measures. This is signal. We're on the right path. Short the bankers, long Bitcoin.
People are protesting against the economic measures of austerity taken by the Milei administration. It's the economic version of complaining about the surgeon that's removing the knife from one's back while not blaming the aggressor whatsoever.
The US media is really whiffing on the whole Milei victory thing. The worst are the outlets (read: entities employed by ignorant digital natives who haven't left the country) calling Milei a "fascist." That's right, they're calling the man who is gunning to shrink the government by 80% and eliminate the state's ability to print fiat a fascist. The ineptitude of the US's education system is on full display when it comes to anything international, tbh. Take anything you read from the corporate media with a grain of salt, as always, and feel free to ask someone with boots on the ground (ahem) about what's going on.
It's truly astonishing to see Argentinian and global corporate media attempt to paint pro-Bitcoin presidential candidate Javier Milei as a fascist. The man is literally running on a platform of severely diminishing the power of the government by separating money from the state. This could not be more anti-fascist if he tried.
