Hit me like a ton of bricks. It’s true, bitcoiners are living in the future. A smaller cohort have integrated the reality of a bitcoin future to the extent that they are aligning their time and energy now with skills and relationships that will cultivate reciprocal value and love moving forward. Not straddling worlds between broken and sound money but complete focus and commitment towards the latter. I use the word integrate intentionally. Ultimately, bitcoin is akin to a spiritual awakening or major psychedelic experience. Message to self (and shared): Pull yourself up by your proverbial fucking bootstraps, create a vision for your life integrating everything you have learned to this point, write it down, and keep it moving.

Observation: growing up, my parents (born late 1940s) didn’t seem to read much. They also didn’t seem to understand or have much curiosity as to how things actually worked. I definitely wouldn’t classify them as ‘lifelong learners’. Maybe I’m being hard on boomers these days but I sense they and their peers were kinda asleep at the wheel. Long term and 2nd/3rd order effects were not considered, yet alone discussed.

I got 21 projects but a bitaxe ain’t one 😂… glad this rip didn’t include any mentions of merrigolds. Your 2nd chat with Travis was a school session. Been thinking about residential hotwater for a few months so the info related to hydro units (and new whatsminer) and boiler style indirect water heating was new to me and I’m a pretty seasoned (albeit whitecollar) MechE.
