I use Joplin for notes and Claude chat/API. I've toyed with Notebooklm but this new mindmap is quite interesting. https://www.makeuseof.com/google-notebooklm-mind-map/ Even when using the new deep research capabilities it helps to have a visualisation tool like mindmaps and there are plugins for Joplin. Joplin is definitely part of a #freedom / #sovereignty tech stack so I'd prefer to stick with that than handover my notes to Goog. But, as ever, trading convenience for privacy is tempting.
