Genuine leaders refuse to be taken alive. They either end it themselves, or they go out in a storm of blessed bullets. Leaders are living a highly-privileged life because they have essential responsibilities to their people. If Maduro would have went out resisting, Venezuelans would be galvanized for further action against the invasive American critters. Now they have to hang their heads in shame. On the other hand, it could be some kind of advanced stage play by Maduro. If this is the case, he was full of shit all along.
