Just compiled Gossip and kicking the tires with it. I'm in the arduous process of learning rust. Once I get my rust legs underneath me Gossip will be good code to study to gather a little more experience with rust as well as learning the Nostr protocol.

I recently purchase this battery backup system for my Linux desktop. It provides 15 minutes of runtime to shutdown the system gracefully before total power loss. With their Power Panel software, the shutdown process can be automated. Although the Power Panel software is able to shutdown the host successfully, it doesn't invoke the script to shutdown my VMs. So bottom line, I wrote my own systemd service that will automatically shutdown each VM in a savedstate before the host is shutdown. I'll follow this up with a blog reference once the documentation is completed.
