Hi @Vitor Pamplona. Amethyst seems to have a severe battery management problem or however one might call it. Today I used it for ten minutes or so yet it was responsible for 1/4 of the phones total battery drainage. It always runs in the background even though I didn't permitted it to run in the background. This happens on two different phones (Pixel 8a and Pixel 6a). From now on I'll force-stop the app after closing it.

I'm searching for a way to index all my photos and documents on my de-googled Android. It has to be open source of course and all the OCR-/Tesseract work has to be done locally. I don't want to run a dedicated server and I'm not looking for a backup solution. I just want to have a daemon running on my phone which does all this in the background. Thanks! #asknostr

@Vitor Pamplona is it possible in Amethyst to set a DVM as the startpage? For example, when I start Amethyst, I would love to see the DVM "One Per Follow" immediately instead of "All Follows" and then switching manually to it. Thanks in advance for your response.

FUTO is such a great keyboard but gosh, why don't they let me pay for it without all that email-address, license key and credit card bs. Insane.

Advertising for this game (even mentioning its name in the public) was forbidden in Germany for a long time. Videogame magazines censored the name of this game by often changing it into "Xuake II" or "frogs" (because frogs QUAK in the German language). You also couldn't buy it in the stores. Nobody gave a shit of course. Black markets were flourishing in the schoolyards 😂 good old times.
