ok so I can take a pair of feiyue sneakers in my bag, I can wear one pair of big shoes on the plane...

they should make a cheap 3d printer that uses wax instead of filament so you could make lost wax led casts
this would actually be so much better for minis than the junk entry level 3d printers make and not need you to fork over infinity money for a quality one
you'd also end up with a metal mini and put way less plastic in the bin, and of course the wax would be way cheaper than filament
