Zap Cooking · 4.0 ⚡️🍳 It has been a big month. And a big week too. We shipped heavy this week. Not just features, but polish. The kind you feel more than you notice. The wallet is finally where it needed to be. You now have full functionality to send and receive Bitcoin over Lightning or on-chain. You can fund your Spark wallet on-chain and start zapping immediately. No hoops. No waiting. One tap zaps make appreciation instant. We also added Branta guardrails to help verify Bitcoin addresses before funds move. Verified by Branta since block height 933,735. Great to work with the @Branta team, quick and easy implementation. Privacy and control got better. Your profile now keeps a backup history, so if another client overwrites your bio, you can restore it right from zap.cooking. Identity and discovery work the way they should. Post npub tagging and comments are fixed. Search is improved so you can find posts by npub tags, note IDs, and nevents and actually get to what you are looking for. The feed feels calmer and more readable. Hellthreads with excessive mentions are automatically filtered out so conversations stay usable instead of overwhelming. And yes, you can adjust this or turn it off entirely if you are a hellthread enthusiast. Long notes now collapse automatically, keeping the timeline clean while letting you expand when you want more. Videos play as you scroll and stop when you move on. More content loads smoothly, deeper into the timeline, without breaking rhythm. Reads are here. Reads are long form notes. We default to OnlyFood, but discovery is always up to you. You can stay focused on food or explore across different topics when you want. Speaking of focus, we made this better across the community feed too. The OnlyFood toggle is improved so you can keep things focused on food or bring your full social experience into Zap Cooking when you want. And yes @sats.zap.cooking Lightning addresses are live. Set up your wallet to get one. Nothing here is about chasing trends. It is about making Zap Cooking feel dependable, calm, and enjoyable so you can focus on cooking, sharing, and supporting each other. Version 4.0 is live. So much shipped in a month. A lot shipped in a week. Been a heck of a run, but we have much more coming in February. We are getting better still. Food. Friends. Freedom. Stay hungry ⚡️🌱
