Ugh, literally every post on Twitter feels like an ad. Like everyone is selling you something, even if it's just their brand of humor or intellect, they all just want your attention. Nostr doesn't feel like that at all. Here people just post so their friends can see what they're up to. Bots, well they postball kinds of shit, but that's what they are supposed to do.

A new guy started in my office about 19 years ago and I remember when he told us he was living with his parents, I was like, "nice, no rent, save some money." He replied "I pay rent in dignity" 😂 It was funny almost 20 years ago, but today it's a literal tragedy the number of people in their 20s still living with their parents.

GM nostr ☕ PV 💜 There are periods of history where normal people end up making discoveries, inventing new technologies or otherwise sparking massive changes to how society functions. But every day, before and after they changed the course of humanity, they would still say GM to somebody.

As someone who works closely with regulations and regulators in a highly regulated industry (commercial nuclear power), cutting governmental departments isn't going to have a huge impact on government spending (they aren't going to cut military, Entitlement programs or interest payments), but they will finally get the government out of the way of actual free market innovation. Really hoping for some big cuts at the NRC... Probably won't happen.
