I found the conversation with @Saifedean Ammous and @Lyn Alden to be frustrating. Lyn was directly challenging Saife’s position on how Tether will work as a straw in the dollar milkshake theory saying she didn’t think there were many bag holders left.
This is a fascinating point of divergence but it was not explored at any level of depth.

I record people telling their life stories. Most of my clients are farm families. I have a podcast: The Ag Tribes Report
I’m re-reading The Mandibles. This story was so prescient it is shocking.
When someone asks you to keep a secret, your interests are being subverted
Cattleman, philosopher, #bitcoin -er talks about finding purpose:

Bumbling Into Purpose.
If you’ve ever felt stuck or unsure what’s next, this is for you.
I think Bitcoin will be considered pristine capital to secure a loan
The reason X is valuable because in exchange for wading through the bullshit, you will occasionally meet really interesting people worthy of respect.
On Nostr, I don’t crash into new people.
I don’t know where people talking about things I care about are at.
I follow agriculture closely. I am interested in supply chains and Bitcoin. I record people telling their life stories.
I am a novice at Bitcoin. I give talks about communication and storytelling.
How do I discover where better conversations are happening?
In NYC if you pay with cash, the registers sometimes don’t have enough coin change so they round to the nearest dollar. This is because denominations smaller than a dollar are so small they aren’t valuable.
As I get older and go through more I realize how ridiculous it is to judge anyone. Everyone is going through things you cannot imagine. Pain, joy, fear, annoyance, failings, successes all at scales that would make no sense to you at all. The judgement of others is meaningless.
I’m a libertarian to my core but credit where credit is due… no way Trump got a C+ that was a solid B+ compared to any other president (so perhaps on a curve…).
Also keep BTC financial, don’t entertain a hard fork over wanting to add in additional data that will just clog nodes

Autism is more frequent when people have babies after 35. People are waiting to have babies due to inflation. Autism is a result of the Federal Reserve printing money.
Bitcoin fixes this.
Drove with my kids, without my wife, to go see my parents. Brought along the camera gear to record their life stories. My dad is visibly nervous about doing this-
At 80 you did a lot, but there is certainly a concern that you may not remember everything.
I never realized, before a Legacy Interview you may see your parent apprehensive or even lash out. A chance to tell their life stories can be intimidating.
But before I go to bed, my parents were excited to tell me about the first car they remember riding in. Mom told stories of being on a family camping trip, stuck at a pavilion in the rain eating Dinty Moore Beef Stew off an electric skillet. The best meal she ever had.
I’m going to write up my experience.
Share it hear. This is my most difficult interview by far. We interview on Monday.
