Never understood “if you don’t vote, you have nothing to say”. It’s the other way around. You freely take part in the corrupt scheme, you believe in the “democratic process” (as long as it works in your favor); you have nothing to say, isn’t democracy what you want? I recognize democracy and elections as the charlatans they are, democracy-plebs believe they can change the system through a referendum controlled by a central authority — we are not the same.

To the dismay of all the gold bugs, the fact that bitcoin is not backed by anything physical (that can be stolen and taken away from you) is its strength. It’s digital, secured by cryptography, and can be protected and held in your brain. Gold, on the other hand, is shiny… sometimes.

Elections are tools used by the state to make the blind populace believe their own voice matters. Half the time the blind populace’s opinions are manufactured and manipulated by companies and the media to serve the state’s agenda, and the other half of the time the elections are rigged. Actions speak louder than pieces of paper in ballot boxes; use #bitcoin and #nostr to truly become free.
